We recommend adding your Facebook profile URL to your user profile. You can do this by going in WordPress to Users>Your Profile, entering your profile URL for ‘Facebook profile URL’ and then clicking ‘Save Changes.’

The validation returns an approved message which means your site can use rich pins.

Pinterest uses the same meta tag for the author that Facebook uses but the two sites expect different data in the same tag. Unfortunately, this means that Pinterest will not see an author in the validation but it does not impact your ability to use rich pins.

Thank you very much for quick response.
So, do you mean that despite putting the full FB URL, the Author and Date of publication reflected in Pinterest due to the constraints in passing the parameters?

We are not sure what parameters you’re referring to here. Can you please elaborate more so that we can understand it better?
