Looks like after years and year I suddenly need to be a paid Blubrry hosting customer in order to use the Powerpres plugin. While I’m not happy with this, I created an account anyway since I need to post an epsiode. However, I get an authentication error when I try to log in “Authentication failed. Please verify that your email and password are correct.” I’ve added my podcast to their directory and also enabled the free statistics but I’m still getting the authentication error.

Does anyone know what’s going on?

    Hello @rossidaniele,

We recently improved the plugins’ UX, you can continue to use the plugin without being a Blubrry customer. Same process applies as before, paste your URL in the media box click continue (previously “Verify”) and go. What we changed was making all of the settings available. Before we had an advanced option where you enabled each iTunes field. Now everything is exposed so you can see all of the options you have. We’re gathering feedback on this and will be rolling out another UX change to make this easier while still providing all of the fields.

    Thanks,
    Angelo

Yup, that’s what happened. For some reason, the new UI threw me off. Don’t know why! It’s just two buttons. And I ended up clicking on “Select File” completely forgetting that I can easily write the url to the sound file like always. Not sure what happened to my brain but what can you do? ??

    Thanks for the help files!
