Hello. No, I have’nt found a solution yet. Please let me know if you do.
    Thanks.

    Hi, me too.

Instagram only allows 3 apps on your account. You need to visit your Instagram account and uncheck one of your application in order to use Instapress.

    Have a great day!

I have the same problem – Instapress do not work. I have WordPress 3.5, Instapress 1.5.3 and PHP 5.2.17. I have no authorized applications in my Instagram profile. After saving login and password in Instapress settings opens the blank white page. Instapress was not added to profile applications, that’s why I see in Instapress settings the message “Instapress requires authentication by xAuth in order to display your friends, public or your own feeds”. At my site I see the “Instagram API did not respond” message. I need support.

I have the same problem with 3.5.1 and Instapress 1.5.3. Has anyone been able to resolve it?

Well, I think this is actually a legit rate limiting issue. Since, as far as I can tell, Instagram no longer offers capability of XAuth (using a username and password), I cobbled together some patches to the current release of Instapress to make it work with a registered API client on Instagram.com

    – provide a redirect_uri to add to your Instagram “client”
    – provide input for client_id and client_secret
    – step through the OAuth process to retrieve a token

I have it working and will submit to the author for review … unsure if it needs additional work, but i will submit patches to the forum shortly if anyone is desparate and needs something now
