I have installed oa-social-login and am trying to use the wordpress id to login to my self hosted wordpress site, http;//wiki.davelevy.info.

When I press the wordpress button, I am offered a login dialogue asking for my wordpress username, the first time I offer the name, it tells me I need to be logged into wordpress, after I log into wordpres.com it tells me I don’t own the identity.

This happens for Chrome and Opera on windows.

I have not associated the wordpress.com account with any of the accounts on the self hosted wordpress blog. Is there a wordpress setup process of oa-login?

I am informed that for this to work, one must have a blog hosted at wordpress.com. I am unsure if the blog name becomes the login id, or if the blogname must match the id user name; or if this is a rule enforced by wordpress. I am as I say advised that the blogname should be used as the oa-login user name credential.

I am unclear if I am going to fix this now. I shall try and find some one to test this for me.

    but please be polite.
