Audio w/captions?

  • Anyone have any idea if the player supports captions for AUDIO as well as video?

    When I do:
    [mejsaudio src="https://mysite.com/mytrack.mp3"]
    the player works fine. But when I do:
    [mejsaudio src="https://mysite.com/mytrack.mp3" captions="https://mysite.com/mycaps.srt"]
    it does not. The player appears as before. Clicking the play button switches it to Pause but does not advance the progress meter; nothing actually plays, and no captions are displayed. Thinking that maybe the captions needed more space to display, I tried adding a height switch. No change, except that of course it now fails to work in a larger frame. ??

    Kinda disappointed at the moment. Any suggestions?
