    It autoplayed for me when I clicked the link, and I’m certainly not logged in to your site.

    It didn’t autoplay for me on Safari or Chrome on MacOS Catalina.

    @otto42 what browser are you on? Could be a permissions/security issue from the browser side.

    Chrome. Windows 10. Version 81.0.4044.92 (Official Build) (64-bit), although it wants me to relaunch to update.

    Note that it didn’t autoplay for me when loading into a new tab, only when I normal clicked on it.

    Autoplay is a finicky beast, and for the most part, browsers won’t autoplay stuff anymore unless you are directly looking at them after an interaction of some kind. There are various rules to this, which I suggest Googling for, as they are complex and weird.. and also not specific to WordPress.
