Audio Snippets?

    Hello,

    Will this plugin enable me to publish/display audio snippets from different Spotify podcasts or songs? Bottom line is that oftentimes I do not want to share an entire podcast or podcast, but just a snippet (or at least be able to start the audio at a certain point). I did check with spotify and unfortunately and surprisingly they have yet to provide this feature.

    The PowerPress plugin doesn’t really do anything with the mp3 files. If you have a link to a file you can put it in there to make an episode.

    You might just want to use the stock WordPress player shortcode [audio src="fullpathtothe.mp3"] to make a player. You will have to edit down the clips you want to play first.

    How would I edit down a spotify clip? In your plugin? I’m new to this and just trying to figure out how to best go about it. I really just wish sites like Spotify made it easy to share snippets of audio.

    PowerPress doesn’t do any clipping/sharing of media files. You might want to look into services like Headliner or AudioBurst for something like that.
