Audio player not showing up when viewed from different addresses

I’ve been in touch with my hosting company about this and they think it’s a WordPress issue. I am using the Podpress plugin to publish podcasts. Podpress has a built in audio player that doesn’t show up all of the time. More on that to come.

My site is (a sub-domain?). It’s a folder under another address. And that is somehow involved with the problem. The address is southeasternbackpackers.com. And if you go there you’ll see one audio player. It isn’t the player that comes with Podpress. It is another player plugin I’ve added.

Now if you go to the same site using it’s exact location https://familybriefs.com/southeasternbackpackers.com/site/ you’ll see two audio players. The one I added and the one included with podpress.

Does anyone know why one player wouldn’t show up when viewing the site from one address but will show up when viewing it from another. And does anyone have any suggestions to get the Podpress player to show up all the time?

I have worked with it from different themes and with other plugins turned off. None of that seems to make a difference.

I’m using WordPress 2.2 and Podpress 8.6 if that helps.
