Audio player not showing on series playlist

    Hi

    Fantastic plugin, spent weeks looking for this one. I can see it works on your demo websites but i cant get the audio player to display in the series paylist. It shows the title, download option and size/length. It just missing the audio player along with it.

    Can you help? I went through all the FAQs disabled all the other podcasting plugins. Tick on the full and excerpt in settings. Not sure what else i need to do.

    Hi there,

    the ss_podcast shortcode does not display the audio player as it is separate to the normal WordPress flow. In fact, I want to remove that shortcode from the plugin as it isn’t really necessary because you can view all of your podcast episodes on the podcast page as listed in the Publishing tab of the Podcast Settings page.

    I will most likely be removing/replacing that shortcode at a later date, but I’m keeping it there for now for backwards compatibility reasons.

    This is one the examples i think you got. Its perfect what i need. Title, download and player. Can i get this on my website?

    If you go to the series page on your site you will see the list of episodes on that series with the audio player (provided you have set the audio player to appear on the episode excerpt in Podcast > Settings.

    To get the URL for the series, go to Podcast > Series in your WordPress dashboard, hover over the series name and click on the ‘View’ link that appears.

    The template used on the Southern Cross Church site is actually a custom template that I built myself specifically for that site, so it’s not a publicly available thing. If you want something like that then I recommend asking a developer to build it for you.
