Audio player NOT showing on recursive sub-directories

Embedded audio player only shows up for mp3 files in the root directory. Sub-directory mp3 files show up as links only.

Tried pulling all the files out of the root and putting them all in sub-directories…(get weirder). Then all the files show as links except for the last directory. Those mp3 files have the audio player.

This plugin is amazing! Except for this one quirk it has been a God send. Thanks so much for your help!
