Audio Player Not Playing… In Macs?

    Ever since 2.13, the audio player does not play. When you click the play button, it just goes into loading, but nothing happens. I contacted WP for Church support, and they said that it was a problem on Macs, but they didn’t have any Macs, so they couldn’t test it and therefore can’t fix it. It’s hard to imagine I’m the only one with a Mac facing this problem.

    So if you have a Mac, can you do me a favor? If you have updated to 2.13 or higher, go to your sermon on the front end and try to play the audio player. Does it play for you? I’ve tried this in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox, and have the same problem.

    So until it gets fixed, I’m stuck on 2.12.5 (4 versions behind)

  • As a developer of the plugin, I can confirm this. There appears to be some kind of an issue, that we are unable to identify. Hopefully someone else can shed some light on this issue! ??

    Also, the audio player in 2.13.2 will not work for Safari users, but that was fixed in 2.13.3.

    We have updated Plyr to next major version, with literally hundreds of fixes
