• Hello,

I use optimize press 2.0 and just installed the powerpress plugin. I uploaded a test mp3 audio via a post page so I could see what the audio player displayed like. Although it appears in the actual post I wanted to have it displaying on the home page.

I added the shortcode [powerpress] to a home page element but nothing appears on the front end! I tried the shortcode for the powerpress subscription box and this worked and appeared on the front end. So why wont my test mp3/audio player not appear?

I am very interested in signing up for the monthly powerpress hosting account but if I cant display the audioplayer clearly on my home page with multiple different podcast episodes that readers can click and play I see no use.

Hope there is a solution and I am perhaps missing something very simple!

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Many thanks,

    Brade ??

In the website tab of PowerPress settings (Advanced mode) check the box next to “Display media / links in: WordPress Excerpts (e.g. search results)” and save settings.

This *should* show the the player in your home page.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for getting back to me!

I ticked the box as you mentioned
Then I added the short code to my back end home page
Then I checked the front end but still no sight of an audio player

Any further suggestions? Sorry for the inconvenience

    Chris ??

p.s – I sent you screen shots via email but don’t know if you can receive them?
