    Update:

    I changed the audio Player and with the new one, it is playing again. Also, I had not seen the option to not show the buttons on the homepage. Now the exerpt problem is ok. however still the old problem:

    – After pressing play in new window, the main page moves to a 404 error
    – pressing the download button (in Chrome) will navigate to the 404 page, and no download is started. Rightclick and save as works.

    I think you have a plugin, theme, or some other type of JavaScript conflict hijacking the links. What I do know is the “download” link, when clicked, should go directly to the media file. It does not, instead it tries to load the media file as a web page, which is very bizarre.

    When you find out what is causing the problem, please reply here with the info so I can see if there’s a way for PowerPress to deal with it.
