Audio in Markers

  • Hi,
    Amazing plugin, thanks for the work. My question is related to audio files. I can embed some iframes from freesound.org but I can’t show the audio player of WP (with the [audio] short code). How can I put self-hosted audio with some audio player plugin?

    The sound also stops stops when I open another bubble –it’s possible to have multiple audios on? –or this (and autoplay) is related only to the audio player?

    I would go for the premium version if necessary. Thanks a LOT.

  • Hi prandam,
    in this case using the premium version would be necessary, as shortcodes in popuptexts are only parsed on layer maps with Maps Marker Pro.
    I suggest to test your usecase by installing the free 30 days trial

    Thanks Robert! I’m trying it right now.

    One question: The ‘bubbles’ can be activated by users location? (so when the user walks nearby a location it gets activated –in my case activate the sound of the place–?)

    Not out of the box, anyway it could be possible to enhance the plugin via the Leaflet event API, see https://www.mapsmarker.com/mapsmarker-api for more details.
