Audio Files on Smartphones

  • Hi
    I’m just wondering if it’s possible to embed mp3 audio files on a WP Blog that would work on iPhones and HTC phones etc.

    I’ve tried all of the options under Insert Embedded Media, and not surprisingly none of them worked.

    I realise that I could upload the audio files to YouTube and embed that way, but does anyone know of a way to do it not via YouTube?

    WPaudio is a really simple and easy to use plugin that just inserts a player into the posts and pages, it works on smartphones too, not as an embedded player though, but as a link to the file. Works fine for me on my HTC.

    My trouble now is to find one for video as well… not as easy! also looking for a nice looking embedded player that works on both web and smartphones.

    But MPaudio is a good little plugin to start. And super simple to use.
