• Hello,

Amazing plugin ! I have a little problem with the custom audience based on category.

I’ve checked everything first, the Pixel is working fine. I did an audience based on all my visitors in the past 180 days. I have over 18 000 visitors.

Most of them, I think around 70% are reading blog posts from the same category. When I create an audience based on that category, Facebook says it’s too small.

    Am I missing something ?

I’ve tried with several different categories that are pretty big on my website (almost 100 posts each) and Pixel Caffeine displays the same size for each category (20).

    Hi,

maybe this is due because the plugin tracks a new event “AdvancedEvents”, in order to pass IDs and valuable information such category, page type, login status, so on. The custom audience you create for categories and other blog behavior filters refer to this event. There wasn’t this event before you started using the plugin, so the custom audience will pick the users since you started using the plugin and so you started to track that “AdvancedEvents” event.

It needs a period of adjustment for the audience inside your audiences. Meanwhile, you can create the custom audience as new, without removing your existing one and after some months decide what to do.

I hope it can help you ??

No…. My category audience doesn’t work as well though it was created 2 months ago with 200.000 visits a month.

So there’s a problem with category audiences inside the plugin.

Have you checked the audience size in the business manager or only in the plugin admin? I don’t want that the counter in admin has a bug. Let me know, it’s very strange that facebook can’collect users in the audience.

No… Facebook doesn’t collect audience in wordpress categories thru the plugin. The numbers are the same >20 in Ads manager and in the plugin.

Could you please share me a screenshot of the custom audience configuration you create by the plugin?

Also, if you can, could you replicate the audience directly in the business manager? To test that the audience in the business manager collect correctly the users.

    Let me know, thanks.
