We have the free edition of the plugin installed on our site. https://www.turningpointlv.org

We had about 15 items up for auction and the auction closed on Friday. All items were there when we last looked and we’re guessing when the auction ended the site went haywire. The site wasn’t loading at all or just the header would load. I was able to get in to the dashboard but only after many, many attempts. It took forever to click on anything. When I tried to get to the auction items, all of them were gone except for a test item that we put in when we were testing the plugin. I don’t know if everything has been deleted or lost or what happened. I had to deactivate the plugin so the site could work.

I’m not sure what to do next. Whenever I reactivate the plugin, every turns to sludge again and I can’t even find the items to manually contact the people who won the final bids.

This site is a non-profit site for victims of domestic violence. The auction was supposed to help us raise money. We will be happy to pay for some support or help, but we just don’t know what to try at this point.

    Any help would be appreciated.

O.K. Sorry. We panicked a bit because the plugin is killing the site. I reactivated it and eventually got to the Manage Auctions page. Didn’t realize the items were under Expired Auctions. It shows all of the items and who won. We’re trying to see if anyone got notified or if payments went to PayPal. I have to keep the auction plugin deactivated because of how bad it’s making the site work. This all started when the items closed. Everything was fine until then.

    Hope someone can help.

    Hi,

There could be a performance hit depending on what servers you have for hosting, how many auctions do you post etc.

The easiest way out to fix this performance issue is upgrading to PRO. I know it is a shameless plug but we implemented CRON/Scheduling feature which expires auctions based on queue.

FREE basically is a basic version and if someone is looking for basic function, it surely can use it but with lot more auctions, PRO is more apt to tackle auctions with increasing items etc,
