In the training videos, the attribution link appears to show at the bottom of the post, however when I preview my post, it is at the top directly under the title. The text that I want to display indicating the attribution link, as selected in the Option Section, also does not appear to be working – may be related? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Could you send a screen capture of what you see? There could be a few possibilities, but we need to see what you mean. You could also send it using Contact Us on our site for privacy.

I’m sorry. I do not know how to insert the screen capture images in this field or to attach them for you to view. My site is under a maintenance wall until I get this figured out. Thank you for offering to help. I’ll see if my webmaster can help.

Thats ok, we can do it with questions. Do you have the option “Show original article link, not readable page?” checked or unchecked in the Curation tab of the MyCurator Options menu? Also, what do you mean by preview the post – from the editor, or by clicking on a link such as “Click here to view full article”?

“Show original article link, not readable page” is unchecked.

Preview the post refers to the “Preview” button (to the right of “Save Draft” button in the upper right corner of the WP “edit post” window.

This text is directly below my title of the post — Click here to view original web page at https://www.foodnavigator-usa.com. I am under the impression that I can change the text directing the reader to the original web page as entered on the format tab of the Options menu. No matter what I put in the fields or even if left blank, the same text shows, i.e Click here to view original web page at https://www.foodnavigator-usa.com.

For what it’s worth, I just used MyCurator on another one of my sites and the attribution link showed up at the bottom of the page as I believe it should.

Perhaps it is the theme. The theme that shows the attrib. link at the top of the post is Woo Canvas. It may be a setting in the theme? The original article is showing in the sidebar and not below the post editor field.

If you click the option “Show original article link, not readable page?” on the first blog, your posts should look like they do in the training videos. This is the default option and is probably why it looks right in the second blog after you installed MyCurator.
