“Attributes”, “Variants”

Hi,

I am trying to set up my webshop. As you can see on the link, I am working with earrings in “Attributes”, “Variants” in the backend. (This is just test-images :-). When you click on “Variants”, “Blue” on the frontend, the earring with the blue stones shows up etc. so thats fine.
The problem is: If you click on the little arrow beside the big image, the next variation will show up as expected – but the “Variation”-color-name doesn’t change to the correct earring. It means, if costumers search between the images on the page (the big or the small gallery-images) and click “Add to cart” on the black beam, they won’t order the images which they can see – and will therefore often order the wrong earring!

How do I connect it on backend, so “Variations” activates to follow the image clicks?
(Please tell me “step by step ??
