Attributes, Page template, Page Order not deactivating

  • Hi,
    I’m currently trying to hide the above mentioned fields from any user but Admin, by selecting them in “Write options – Page”
    And still, all of those fields appear for all users (I’ve tried all user roles)
    What am I missing? The debug showed nothing in the Console, by the way, when editing a new page as any of those users.

    Also, I couldn’t find those fields (Page Attributes and/or Template) in “Write Options – Post”

    Other settings (i.e. deactivating “Custom fields”) work fine in both Write Options (page and post)

    Any idea what I may be missing?

    PS: Multiple problems with the media library:
    1. The library gets stuck in a loop when selecting Grid view, never loading any image. Also in Grid view: The “Search field” appears in the middle of the screen
    2. When Uploading images in any of the available ways (via Library, via post) it either gets stuck at “Processing” or gives the error “couldn’t upload, try again later”. But when reloading the media library again, the image is there.

    All problems solved by deactivating Adminimize

    I don’t know if it’s some kind of incompatibility between Adminimize and some other plugin but the fact is that by deactivating Adminimize all problems disappeared.

    I’m on WP 5.5.1
