• Resolved brandtality

    (@brandtality)

    Hello,

On my shop, I have several attributes (Color, Size, Material etc). For some reason I cannot get the material attribute to show in the front end. Color, size, price etc works well.

But not Material type. For example, on this specific catergoy there is Cotton, Poly Cotton and Polyester.

But cannot seem to get it to show on front end. I can add it to sidebar, but front end shows blank.

    I am using Porto theme.

    Any assistance would be great.

  • Hello,

    Please check our documentation here:
    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/

    Link to image: https://snipboard.io/123AZj.jpg

Please check your product on your dashboard, go to the tab Attributes, and be sure you have checked the checkmark used for variations.

Also, you can switch your theme to Storefront disable all plugins except for WooCommerce, go to your store page, look for the product and check if the issue is still appearing.

If not, you can then one by one re-activate the theme and plugins, until the cause of the issue is found.

You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Let us know how that goes, thanks.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while (I believe that at this point you have been able to find a solution), so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Sorry, I was busy, forgot to check. I don’t want to use this in my variations. It’s not to choose when on product page, it is only to filter (ajax) when looking at the category page. Just not showing. I have added it but still not showing.

    Hi there!

Have you tried the conflict test mentioned above by Igor?

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If so, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, I can see that there is some minified cache on your variations display, can you purge them all? You also can reach out to your hosting company to check if they use some caching system on their side too.

I hope to hear from you soon! All the best,
