Attribute Filter not working for Variations

    Hi,
    We have Attributes assigned to many products by variations, in this case sizes, but Filter by Attribute doesn’t show all possible results.

    The linked address should show many more results under Velikost, but only shows 2.

    I’m guessing the attributes are set up as Global, because I can use them as a Variant for any product set as Variable.

    Using WP version 5.6.1 and WC version 5.0.0

    Is there anything else I should be checking?

    I’m unable to open the link. But just to be clear, in order to use the attribute filter, you need to created global attributes under Products > Attributes, and add global attributes to products. If you manually add attributes to product individually, the Filter won’t work: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/#section-8

    And also to be clear, the Attributes are set up as Global already, as I can use them in any product.

    So, I managed to fix it after hours of uploading and deleting products.

    Here are my steps:
    1. Following this guide, https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/, use the example csv file given to create the basic products, but make sure to set Attribute 1 Global to 1 for all.
    2. Go into wp_postmeta table and using HeidiSQL or similar, find and replace all instances of this substring ‘%is_variation”;i:0;s:11:%’ with ‘%is_variation”;i:1;s:11:%’.
    3. Upload the Variations CSV file with the link to the parent SKU and Attribute 1 Global set to 1.

    You’ll notice in the guide that the Attribute 1 Global is set for 0 for the Products and Variations upload, which is probably where many ppl are having problems.
