• Hello,
I created a n:m data project using WPDataAccess Pro. In editing mode I can add/delete/edit records to the tables in either side of the relationship but didn’t find a way to edit data in the relationship table. In your m:n example that would be the “classname” column in the CLASS table. The best I managed to do is adding a 1:n relationship for the relationship data table to be shown in another tab, but is’t view only – no icons to allow editing.
    Thanks for any help.
    Fabio

    Hi Fabio,

Editing data in the relationship table is not supported. Sorry to disappoint you!

Your strategy to create a 1:n relationship is the correct work around. To select a row from the target table, you can add a lookup. If you use a view in your lookup, you can concatenate multiple fields. But it is not possibility to edit target table columns directly in your data entry form.

This feature is planned to be implemented in Data Forms, but not on short term…

    Sorry,
    Peter
