at this moment that is not possible. What you can do, is create a link to a ‘search’ yourself.

If your page with the name directory is https://example.com/attorneys/, you can create a link https://example.com/attorneys/?name-directory-search-value=Boston to show every attorney which is located in boston (but you’ll have to mention that in the description).

Thank you for your quick response, J. I’m not sure this would work for this particular client. They are really wanting a buttoned up search, and there needs to be drop downs, and a really robust name search. Here is another version: https://www.debevoise.com/professionals

dropdowns are possible to, with the linking option. You can use javascript to kick-off the search when you want.

The example on debevoise.com is very nice, but my NameDirectory plugin really isn’t developed for something like that at this moment.

I’m really sorry, it’s not that I don’t want to help you, but at this moment I don’t really have the time to create custom software on the side of my dayjob (which also involves programming) and private time.

Isn’t there a plugin that’s better suited for the job? Like an employee directory or something like that?

I’ve been searching up and down and cannot find anything. I would imagine something like this could be applicable across several industries (sold as a stand-alone plugin), but there is nothing out there.
