I am trying to get the attendee list and use it in a gdocs table.

I have the webhook for attendees, but the URL doesn’t display any attendee, although I have made 11 test registrations. https://birthday-unabrogated-4386aa.theeventscalendar.today/wp-json/tribe/tickets/v1/attendees/

Is this because of the GDPR? Do attendees really need to opt in in order to have their details displayed?

If yes, you need to reconsider this, since not all of us live in a country which is GDPR compliant, and above that, there are certain events, like city marathons, where the attendees actually REQUEST the public list of attendees.

Is there a way you can correct this?

  • Hello @audioboon,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Displaying the attendee list in an API format doesn’t require GDPR compliant and returns as long as the site is not behind a login or a firewall/security plugin. I tested with my test site – https://share.zight.com/YEuzdRQq.

I tried checking the link you shared and it seems that your site is currently suspended – https://share.zight.com/9ZuLNx8K.

If it returns a 404 error, you need to set the site to public (if it’s private) or disable any security plugin or firewall.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if you need anything else.
