Attendance tracking plugin for Participants Database

    Trying to find a plugin to use on top of the Participants Database for tracking student attendance. A calendar/schedule of repeating weekly classes and an interface to check students into each class. Reports for attendance records would be a big plus.

    Yes, this is a good idea…I don’t have anything like this planned at present, though. Not sure what to suggest you do in the meantime, something like this can be a little complicated.

    Do you have a template that I could start with for making a plugin to work with the Particpants DB? I am an embedded software engineer, which doesn’t mean I can write plug-ins very well, but I want to start ??

    I don’t have a template for that purpose as such, there is an API which provides ways for custom scripts to interact with the plugin. My site also has numerous tutorials that may be of help.
