Attendance cancellation problems

    Used to work perfectly. Now gives spurious on-screen error messages when someone tries to cancel their booking:
    <h2 > You are already attending this event above registration form
    <p > You are not already attending

    There’s something faulty about the logic/sequencing here. I’ve had to hack the ‘quick-event-registration.php’ code (at line 1129) & css (display:none; for the <h2 > error to stop these errors being visible & confusing people. But hiding the error messages leaves the total available spaces count wrong still. Not an ideal repair!

    Thanks for providing feedback and collaborating with this free project by providing your input.

    Version 9.2 ‘fixed’ an issue “Enable ‘not attending’ when same email can apply multiple registrations” which may have imp[acted the logic.

    You can download ( from Advanced link ) the prior version 9.1.8 and see if that resolved your issue, not as a permanent solution of course, but would give me a quick indication of where the problem lies and help expedite a proper fix.

    Yep – reverting to 9.1.8 has fully resolved the issue. I hope that helps you pinpoint what needs fixing.

    Meanwhile, I’ll retain the older version which is working exactly as it should. Since we only allow single bookings per event I’m not feeling the lack of the new functionality introduced in 9.2 ;o)

    That issue should be resolved now in version 9.2.3 just released
