    I understand that event calendars are complicated, but I don’t understand how a platform as widespread and popular as WordPress can have ZERO event calendar plugins that aren’t garbage.

    The Event Calendar suite of plugins is bloated, buggy, ugly, overly complicated, tedious and frustrating to use, and it is riddled with annoying upsell ads in the admin interface even after you have paid to upgrade to pro.

    Attempting to use this plugin is a traumatic and scarring theft of your time, energy, and sanity.
