Tried one search/replace > it blew up my site – used to be flawless

I literally made one content change (a phone number) in only one table (wp-posts) and this plug-in nuked my entire site. First click after running the find-replace and I got the “Famous 5-minute setup” screen!!! Sitting there somewhat baffled, I entered my existing data and crossed my fingers. The page just sat there with an eternal spinner. Fortunately, something eventually cleared and the site came back up after a few minutes. Even so, I consider my self VERY lucky at the moment. I’ve used this plug-in for years with absolutely zero issues, but I’m not using it again unless and until it is updated and verified stable.
