We have been monitoring a recently launched site using New Relic for PHP Errors and Warnings. One of the most common warnings increasing our user Frustration rate is a warning from Yoast. Attempt to read property “ID” on bool. in do_shortcode called at /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/ajax/class-shortcode-filter.php (35). I found multiple support forums that had similar issues and offered fixes such as changing the site in Yoast from an Organization to a Person then back. That was supposed to get rid of a call to get user ID but that did not seem to work. Some people in forums also say you can manually change a value in the database so Yoast isn’t calling get ID on a lookup for user 0 but the PHP warning remains. Can you offer any suggestions about how to get rid of this warning?

    Hi @stellaractive

Could you please update to the latest version of Yoast SEO 18.9 for that website?

Regarding the warnings that you are receiving (/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/ajax/class-shortcode-filter.php (35)), could you let us know if you are using any sort of filter or shortcode, or are you seeing these warnings on any specific posts or pages or how to reproduce this issue?
