Attack of spambots

I am experiencing spambot attacks on my forms with non-existent e-mail signatures and people who have not authorized the use of their e-mail addresses. Does the developer have anything to say about this? Anyone have any idea what’s going on? I was forced to disable the plugin until I got answers to what’s going on.
