    Hi,
Submitted attachments ( images) to the form are not being sent along with the rest of the information.

I’ve tried every kind of file, of every size, and even had my host look into overnight.

I’ve tested receiving emails on 3 different email clients on 3 different devices and the result is the same. The form text sends fine. No attachments. Not once. They aren’t being blocked anywhere. They are not being sent.

Can you advise on what is preventing the attachments from sending?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I know help around here is voluntary, but I also combed the website docs and don’t see any mention of this issue. I’ve tried every possible suggestion regarding trouble shooting Caldera form issues and none solved the problem.

I’m on dedicated server, have my own mail server and dedicated IP address. I had my host go through every possible setting and mail conflict and all is fine.

I’ve even set up a different form, sent with attachments and they came though. So it’s not my site or my server or my device or email client. It’s the plug in. I really did want to use this form but I’ve spent over a week on this and can’t seem to find help anywhere.

Thanks anyway. Looks like it would be a cool plug in if it worked

Thanks for using Caldera Forms. This should not be happening. Sounds like an error is happening while your are submitting the form. Have you tried the submission with debug logging on (https://calderaforms.com/2016/05/wordpress-debug-logging/) ? I would recommend that to find the error.

Also, have you seen if it works with out the CSV attached?

If you need help with this or troubleshooting the error, please open a support ticket at https://calderaforms.com/support

Actually the CSV sends as an attachment no problem. Debug mode shows nothing. Also even though “Attach to mailer” is selected, the media still saves to the media library and doesn’t send the attachment.

I’m using the free version. Can I still open a support ticket?

    This issue is not resolved.

So it appears that I can’t get help with this through support unless I purchase something first. But why would I purchase something when the free version isn’t working correctly?

Been troubleshooting this for over a week now. Sending my host in circles to find the problem when there is none on my end. I get directed to the support page, knowing that I can’t create an account to ask for support for the free version, no real attempt to help figure the problem out, and having this thread marked resolved when in fact it is not.

Too bad, this looked promising but obviously the form does not work as advertised for everyone.

    I’m done. Too much trouble.

I’m also having this issue. The only way I can get attachments to be available after form submission is to check “Add to Media Library”, which I’d rather not do for various reasons. The only attachment that ever shows up in the email is the CSV. I am using SendGrid for my WordPress emails, but have this problem whether it is activated or not. How can this be marked “resolved”?

That is exactly my problem. I’ve tried it with or without an SMTP program. With all other plug ins disabled. On the default theme. Across multiple email addresses and receiving on various devices and email clients. I am using a dedicated server with a dedicated email server.

I’ve read the documentation about file uploads. Done all the suggested ways to solve. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. Manually installed. Installed it on a default theme with no plug ins.
I’ve moved the file upload to the beginning of the form, to the end, created a form with 2 fields and a file upload, or just a file upload.

Twice now I’ve had my host look into server configurations, the email server, everything possible to see if there is an issue on our end. There is not.

For me it is also saving to the server even though that option is unchecked.

The result is the same. It’s clear that the attachments are not sending and the form doesn’t work.

Why would I purchase more stuff from the same company just to get help with a product that already doesn’t work?

I agree this issue IS NOT RESOLVED and I don’t know why the support person has marked it that way. Probably so that they don’t have to come back to it and to make the support forum look as if they’re taking care of issues.

That sucks because this really looked promising.

    same Problem here…

it worked fine for a while…

but then without any changes the attachement was not sent within the mail…

    Duplicate the form didn’t helped..

In a new form it do work!!!!!

    THE PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED…

I WILL NOT BUY THE PLUGIN WITH THAT PROBLEM!!!!!!!

    Support marks problems as resolved
BUT THE PROBLEM IS NOT RESOLVED…

    DON’T BUY THIS PLUGIN!!!

Same problem, i’m still facing this issue attachments aren’t getting sent. Has any one found a fix please?

    Thank you

I found this thread through a Google search and just wanted to report that in my case, using the plain old “File” field type works. The “Advanced File Uploader” field did not, in fact, upload any files.
