  • If they weren’t there before, they weren’t saved. New ones will show up – older attachments that were uploaded since the WP update weren’t actually uploaded.

So I lost all my old data and attachments? I feel I am still missing something. Sorry!

    Yes, unfortunately.

For me, it was a scenario where people were submitting resumes. Prior to Dec 13 (when I updated WP), everything was fine. After the update, though, the files were never saved in the DB, just the filenames.

I have started calling people asking them to send their resumes. A tad embarrassing.

That would be a tad embarrassing. None of my old file names, which used to be blue, are clickable now (before Dec 13). I wonder if I dig in there from cpanel view if I could find them.

I just submitted data and attachments as a test. I can see the file names on the Excel sheet but not clear how to view the image attachments (not blue or clickable).

Anyone getting it to work on their site?

It works on the online db for me.

That seems to have disappeared for me completely. Apparently I am missing something.

… the “Database” view is missing completely. I only have Shortcode and Options on my menu. hmmmm….

I’ll push an update shortly that hopefully will fix that.

I’m marking this as resolved because the issue was fixed by the update. Thank you so much for the quick work Michael, we all greatly appreciate it!
