    Are there any updates on this item?

    It looks like we are now suffering the same issue now that a client of ours has us doing a PDF file delivery through the sendgrid API. SMTP is not available in their case because of spam restrictions set by the host.

    @scampanella SMTP is always an option. the entire Internet relies on SMTP.

    We have included a fix for this problem in the last version of the plugin (1.5.3).
    Note: make sure you have the php curl extension enabled in order to send attachments using API method. Thanks!
