Attachment “unnamed” if filename is Japanese
-
CF7 delivers attachments just fine if the filename is in English. But if it contains Japanese characters, some funny things happen.
If the user uploads a file called “楽しい時間を過ご.docx”, a file named “unnamed-file.docx” is delivered. Apparently, all the Japanese characters are removed leaving the filename blank.
It seems that all characters preceding a Roman character are cut off. For example…
Q楽しいD時間を1過ご9.docx -> Q楽しいD時間を1過ご9.docx
楽しいD時間を1過ご 0.docx -> D時間を1過ご.docx
Any Japanese characters following a Roman character are fine.Has anyone else run into this issue?
