    Hello @alan555

Thank you for contacting the support.

One should not be indexing the attachment pages. Those are thin content pages.

Please check the following screencast on how to turn them off:
    https://i.rankmath.com/lWDxcg

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for the quick reply. I will turn it off. Could I suggest you edit your article about sitemaps on the Rank Math website as it recommends to turn them on, and you will probably get more support questions about it.

Could I also ask is it possible to regenerate the sitemaps because sometimes they are not updated in the browser when I view them, or is ti due to caching in the browser?

    Hello @alan555

That’s a shame and appreciate you pointing it out. We have updated the article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/#media

Sure. Please change the default value of the number of posts to be included in a single Sitemap file to 201 from 200 and click on update settings. You can also update the Permalink settings without changing anything. That should flush the cache.

If that does not help, please consider disabling Sitemap’s cache by adding the following filter in your theme’s functions.php file:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#enable-disable-sitemap-cache

Hope that helps. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

We are here to assist. Thank you.
