• Hello

Congrats for the great plugin so far!
I’m searching for solution(s) to become able to work with Attachment post type as well.
Do you have any plans to incorporate them as well into the plugin?
I would love to have a Gutenberg Block that lists Attachments with specific parents, metas, etc.
As i learnt, Attachments are different from CPT-s, but i havn’t dig too deep into the issue yet.

    But really curious on this.
    Best wishes,
    Wiktor

Attachments are like pages as far as post types go. They are indeed a post type, they just don’t have an archive like pages don’t have archives. You can map a page to a blog post, which is nice, as posts don’t really have an archive either aside from the main loop.

That being said, there are many ways to display attachments, so if you could present a diagram of what you are after, I can look into the use-case. You can post a screenshot here and link to it, or open a GitHub issue and I can see how feasible it is.

    Hey Ronald,

What i want is similar to the capability of this kind of Block but with also the Attachment posts being accessible. Here i asked this question earlier on this forum and got this answer. This made me believe, that it’s different than CPT-s, but i still didn’t get enough details to see in exactly how different it is, or how i could tweak the Attachment Post type, to become selectable for Gutenberg Block operations as well. ON WordPress Stack Exchange i got 0 answers. PLs check it, and see my code.
So that it. Thats all i’m after. ??
    Cheers,
    Wiktor

    Hello Ronald,

I’m just inquiring, whether you manage to help me with more info based on the extra info i added above? Thank you,
    Kind regards,
