Attachment not possible on first message of a new thread

    Hello, the plugin works very well except that the icon to attach a file is not available when creating the first email in a thread. It becomes available only for replies of the initial message.

    Any ideas why?

    Is there a way to circumvent that? Like a line of code to remove this restriction? My clients need to upload an image to their vendor once they have purchased a package from the vendor’s store. If they can’t to that from the start, it causes all sort of issues.

    Hi there!

    Unfortunetaly its not possible at the moment, because before you not creating thread we dont know its ID.
    Thats not restricted somewhere or something like that.

    This feature is in my plans, but i dont know when it will be released, because I have many other things todo.

    I too find this behavior a bit wonky.

    Is the thread ID available on the messages_message_after_save hook? Could the attachment be applied then?

    You’ve probably got a million things that are more important to focus on than this minor detail. Just a thought….
