Attachment Location Security

    It looks as though the order attachments are uploaded to the ‘uploads’ directory in WordPress. How secure is this, as some attachments for orders could contain sensitive information? If files are in the media folder, could Google be indexing them, for example?

    So far, the issue of security of placing a file in the ‘uploads’ directory has not been discussed. Perhaps in the future we will work out a solution that will place files in a separate and separated place.

    For now, I can mention that the plugin allows you to add a prefix to the file name, which should somehow affect the security in terms of the file name.

    As for indexing by Google, I do not think that files/urls that have no way out to the so-called daylight are included in the index, however, if you have any suggestions regarding this issue, we are open to proposals for solutions.
