• This is an odd one to explain – I had a former coworker create a WordPress instance on AWS Lightsail, to which we got locked out of and never could recover details for (the reset password links go nowehere). I rebuilt the site in a new instance, but as soon as I connect it to the domain, those login details disappear and I am rerouted to a login page with the locked account’s username. I have tried 3 times, in AWS and GoDaddy through Managed sites. Can I permanently disable an account I don’t have access to, or find out why I can’t connect my domain anywhere else?

  • It’s possible that your domain is still bound to old place (folder, hosting) and you need to make changes in a hosting to connect if with your new instance.
Domain has NS servers in which it is delegated, addition to it, DNS records of a domain have A record with IP address of a web site and also it should be connected to right folder on a hosting.
