“Uploaded To this Post” option without “Attach Uploaded Files To Post”

    When i set “Attach Uploaded Files To Post” to false and try to create a media gallery from files uploaded to that specific page…the filter “uploaded to this post” doesnt contain the files uploaded to that page.

    When I set “Attach Uploaded Files To Post” set to true I am able to access the files “uploaded to this post” in the media gallery.

    Looking closer at this, I am not able to locate anything like “Attach Uploaded Files To Post” which can be set to either true or false. Can you let me know where you are seeing that option? Thank you
