• Hi,

Is it possible to addatch images to a post, not imclude an image link in the post but say after the the post message box there is an upload form and it automatically adds the images under the text of the post for users to click on and enlarge.

Is there any pre done scripts or anything that may help?

    Thanks guys…

  • There are various image plugins, but you don’t have to link to the image, just upload an image and thumbnail, display the thumbnail with a link to the larger picture.

    Thanks Beel,

Because anyone can create a post I wanted to make it easier to attach image rather than uploading them first and then writing the post.

Does anyone know of any plug-ins that would work as im having a bit of trouble finding any…

    Thanks.

I haven’t run across anything which will embed images in post content for storage in the database and don’t think WP is going in that direction.

oMIKEo, try the Iimage Browser plugin. It adds a button to the admin quicktags list so you can simply upload an image from your computer to your blog at that time. Iimage Browser allows you to create a text link to the full size image, a thumbnail link to the full size image or simply insert the full size image into your post. I’ve used the plugin for quite some time and it is excellent. The only limitation is that it won’t create a custom-sized popup window when you select the text link or thumbnail link to the full size image; it will allow you to have a new window for the image, just not a custom-size window.
