Attach image to multiple posts

  • Is it possible to attach images to multiple posts? I have a lot of posts that I need to have share the same image from the media library, but when I attach to a second post, it removes the attachment from the original post.

  • Yes, you can share images. You should go to the media library, find the image, click on show and then click on Insert into post.

    Not insert into post body – attach to the post – so it appears in the gallery tab.

    If you want an image to appear in the gallery for each post, then you’d have to re-upload it within each post.

    This is something I would love to see… for example, if you have a blog with different languages you could share the same attachments (images, files) for the same posts/pages in different language
