Hello @mariabb23, I have talked with the plugins team and in the next days the styling customizer will be available .
So let’s move on with your other questions.

Apart from this, regarding the slider: (slider plugin is installed) when choosing the content for each slider “You should use a featured image with this page. The title of the page will also appear on the slide”, it only lets me pick from pages (sample pages as this site is brand new), but how can I pick an image? I don’t get the upload image option.

Well go to a page and on the right side there is a featured image link, if you click on the image upload window will open, and you can select from your computer the image you want to act as the featured image. This image will be picked by the slider as it is written above.

Maybe for this slider the idea is to show pages/sections? or different pages with the option of setting different background images?

The slider is just a plugin with great options. I cannot interfere with its functionality. Most of the time is used to create custom content. There is also a Pro version which does a lot more things.

Is the slider only available on that “second” level, not on the very first image right when you enter the site?

What do you mean by “second level”? If you could make this clear I could help you!

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I’ll wait for the plugin to be back, and will take it from there as I imagine some of the issues I am encountering, other than because I’m a newbie (reading all documentation!), are due to non having it installed!

Oks re slider – so the images are not uploaded directly on that editor (using elementor), as with the background image, but from each page (as featured image). By “second level” (confusing, I admit it!) I meant: following the order of elements appearing in the page, top bar, header, main? background image with the CTA, slogan, etc (“level one”), then after this, I can set the slider to appear there, so scrolling down that was my “second” level. I’ll look into it again and check exactly its options.

I am not finding where to edit the fonts, colour fonts, and background colour of the top menu – I am guessing that will be possible once the plugin is installed.

And, I am adding a second language to the page, and I could only add the language switcher at the top bar, but it was showing right in the middle of the bar making it look very wide – I’d like to add it to the top menu (tiny flags right where title, home/about us/contact/ social media icons etc are displayed), but I couldn’t find this option- is it possible to add the language switcher right there?

The plugin will be available in the next few days I hope.
I will review it and upload a newer version.

I am sure that the slider provides a feature where you can upload an image as a slide’s background image, of course, you can.

The slider is shown below the navigation menu. If you wish to show the slider elsewhere then you should edit the code. I could help you however it would be a task that maybe take time.

The colors are plugin’s responsibility..Unfortunately.
For the third question may I have a link to the website? I could help you with custom CSS code . Are you using WPML plugin?

I was holding to have the plugin installed, before trying setting up the slider and the rest.

(I’m holding on as I may also change the domain name, but I will share the URL. I am not using WPML but Polylang).

Tomorrow I will make some more changes to the plugin and resubmit.
I am really sorry a lot of things happened that postponed the
latest version.

I will upload version 1.6.0.0 which has some minor improvements in the next 2 days which has some improvements and some compatibility checks and then I will start adding new features. I think that I may add WooCommerce functionality to this theme in the next major version eg 1.7.0.0. I mean 100% compatible.

That sounds great. I am currently working on the contents and I can hold on for a couple of days. These 2 sites wouldn’t initially woocommerce, I think, but it’s good to have the option, and those improvements, yay!
