    Hi There,
So I see ATC (Add to Cart) does not report in “test events” but shows being tracked in history. Also notice that the ATC button is showing in pixel “Button Click Automatically Detected, CUSTOM PARAMETERS SENT formFeatures: Show
    buttonText: ADD TO CART”

Guess this can be fixed with a short code placed on product pages…Please advise.

Please help with the best way to get ATC reflecting in test events and reports.
    Thanks!

  • Hey @shutterdude,

Thanks so much for the question, I’ll be happy to take a look into this for you. It sounds like the AddToCart event is not being tracked properly when browsing your site, so it would be great if I could take a look at that more closely.

You mentioned that the test event did not report it being captured, and it wasn’t showing in your reports. It would also be great if you could share with me where exactly you were testing this, and which report you were looking at!

As standard, our plugin will track the add to cart events triggered from the WooCommerce actions:

    • woocommerce_add_to_cart
    • woocommerce_ajax_added_to_cart
    • woocommerce_add_to_cart_redirect
    • woocommerce_ajax_added_to_cart

We have seen some themes have some odd issues, especially when adding to cart uses custom AJAX instead.

Does any of this ring true for your current store?

    Cheers!

    Simon.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for the revert.
The store is using Woostify Theme.

Here’s the link to pixel helper the way ATC shows on store.

Testing this on “Test Events” feature of the Facebook events manager. It does not show up there.

    Thanks!

    Hey @shutterdude,

Thanks for clarifying! The pixel helper also shows that the AddToCart event wasn’t tracked either, as it should be listed as its own entry: https://cloud.skyver.ge/qGuKjvng

That matches up with what you’re seeing in the Events Manager too.

In order to look into this further, we’ll need to get access to the site and see how the products are being added to cart. It would also be great if we could have temporary admin access to check over the WooCommerce settings for add to cart (to see if/what AJAX settings are enabled) and run some tests.

Please could you raise a support request via our support form so that we can receive this information privately?

    Cheers!

    Simon.
