There is no “fix” to this problem, you should write your code to look good in both FF and IE. Use css and xhtml. If you do want any help of specific issues, please link your website.

I appreciate your help. It is very kind. I am surprised by what you write. Maybe my internet explorer is just old. I have a mac and am using internet explorer 5.2. On the flexible modular design page:https://www.biomatrixwater.com/bioremediation/flexible-modular-design/ does the image which is a compilation of different plants and islands look distorted or normal on your web browser? On my IE it looks completely distorted but fine on FF.
