Atahualpa dead?

  • Hi, is Atahualpa dead? It hasn’t been updated in a long time now. I’ve used this theme heavily on many sites and now I have a problem involving it. My typical troubleshooting begins with updating everything (well, after a backup). And I’m surprised to see Atahualpa looks to have stagnated. Any thoughts?

    No it’s not dead. The reason it hasn’t been updated is because of the theme review requirement that all themes must use the customizer or they won’t be reviewed.

    what is the problem you are having? have you posted on the theme forum https://forum.bytesforall.com ?

    And I’ve tried to login and comment there, but am facing an annoying login related semi-PEBKAC issue with that.

    Have you disabled all your plugins?
    cleared your browser cache?
    what is the exact problem

    The string ‘CACHE START’ is not in Atahualpa’s code

    @juggledad — if Atahualpa is not “dead”, will there still be bug fixes/updates available, even if off of the WordPress directory?

    @jamessnell — have you found an alternative? I love Atahualpa’s structure and flexibility and haven’t found anything close to it.
