• Hello,
The title text I have been adding to the Yoast SEO meta box is not showing in the Google search result as I have set them.

At the end of all the meta titles of all my pages and posts, my website URL is automatically added.

On the Dekstop search result, my meta titles are shown as I have added them. But on Mobile search results, my meta titles are shown with my site URL at the end of it.

Not only that, but on Bing search results my meta titles are shown as I have added them.

I am attaching a Screen Shot for clarifying my problem.

One thing I also want to mention is that the name of the theme that I am using is Generatepress. And the theme also supports the ‘title tag’

Now I want to know what the reason behind the problem is. And what are the solutions to it? Is the problem with my Theme or with Yoast SEO?

I checked one of my sites which use Yoast, but not GeneratePress. The mobile Google listings include a hyphen and the organization’s name after the title. Not the domain name. However, I suspect if you do not provide an organization name in Yoast settings, it’ll default to domain name. I’m 97% sure this is a Yoast feature, as this site’s organization name does not appear in desktop Goggle, just as you’ve described.

I recommend placing the desired text you want appended to titles in Yoast settings. If it’s important nothing is appended, I recommend asking for guidance in Yoast’s dedicated support forum.
