• My site is unpresentable.

Built the site. Included a caching plugin. Continued mods. HostGator migrated it from shared to VPS dedicated virtual server while I was changing things. Next morning after 8 hrs work, I wake up, tweaked something small, check the preview and none of my changes are populating. I come back to some part of the dash and get a bunch of errors at the top of the page about my caching plugin.

I impulsively delete the plugin. I go to preview again and its the same site as yesterday, pre-eight hours of work! I throw up an under construction sign and start looking for a solve.

Yet….yet…I’m checking with people and one is seeing my construction sign, another is seeing my old site- like me through dash, another is seeing my new site, another is getting an adobe flash error.

On top of that, depending on when I look, how I look, and with what device, and with different levels of cache flushing…I see different versions. I’m usually very good at spotting trends, but their seems to be no rhyme nor reason for what version shows up where.

Host gator said it was because I added new private name servers without deleting the old ones. I fixed that and waited the 24-48 for DNS. Still, remains, continues, all jacked up.

I’ve been making changes on the dash to the old site and people tell me they see it on the new site that I can’t see anymore, and once the new site showed up for me and I saw ge chants too.

I think I’m losing my mind.

I reinstalled a cache plugin. Maybe the same, maybe different. Didn’t do anything. I did a DNS flush on my Mac. Cleared caches on iPhone ipad. Had others do the same.

Website is processing credit cards. It’s functional. I just can’t see the real thing and people are wondering if I should up my meds.

    Help, please.

    Menutest.com is the site.
