'At a Glance' stats not correct – wrong image count

  • I can’t for the life of me figure out why it says I have 793 images when I only have about 1/2 that. I know because I’ve deleted them all and re-uploaded them just to try to figure out this issue. All other stats are correct. I’ve been through the server and can’t find any duplicate images anywhere, so where is this number coming from?

    – What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.13, then upgraded to 2.0.61) n/a

    – MySQL up to date (at least 5.0)? Yes
    – PHP up to date (at least 5.2.4)? Yes
    – The mod_rewrite Apache module activated? Yes
    – PHP Safe Mode OFF? Yes

    Additional information that will help us find a solution:
    – Who are you hosted with? Dreamhnost
    – What theme are you running? Vantage
    – Which plugins do you have installed and activated? Many n/a

    @wiredpoet – Although excluding your “Many” plugin may likely be correct it is still possible one may be causing a conflict (unless you have already tested this at a baseline default).

    As it is, without any noted plugin conflicts, please send us a Bug Report so we can get a close look at what might be going on.     Hi, I’m also having this problem, ‘at a glance says’ I have 82 images and when counting up through my galleries I have 28 – did you manage to find a fix for wiredpoet’s query? I’m trying to back up my site and I’m getting an error saying that some of my image names are too long, however I can’t locate said images, perhaps they are in among the 82 but I can’t view them. Please can you help? (www.businessowl.co.uk)

    Hi guys ! Same problem here…
    It states that I have 87 images but that’s wrong since I deleted most of them (through FTP).

    Images (at least the thumbanials !) were still appearing in my “Media Library” although I had deleted the files through FTP. So I also deleted them all in the “Media Library” and now I have none, but NextGen still says I have 87 when I do have about 23 actually !

    How can I reset the correct numbers ?
